Traffic regulation orders

A traffic regulation order (TRO) allows us to regulate the speed, movement and parking of vehicles.

A TRO can be used to establish bus lanes, loading bays, double/single yellow lines, no entry, one way traffic, pay and display parking, resident parking, school entrance markings and speed limits.

A temporary traffic regulation order (TTRO) is for temporary restrictions such as a road closure, suspension of a one way street or parking to allow road works or ensure safety at a sporting or social event.
