Health

The Council has a number of responsibilities to maintain and promote a healthy population. These include health visiting, school nursing, substance misuse services, tobacco control services, mental health promotion, awareness training and prevention services, suicide prevention, healthy weight, nutrition and breastfeeding, and sexual health services.
