Disposing of old furniture and other large items

During the Covid-19 outbreak we ask customers to place their bulky items to the collection point at least 72 hours before the collection date and to not let anyone touch it during this time.

Where possible, please bring your items to the front driveway or garden. Due to the number of people and cars at home, we may struggle with access if the items are at the back of the property.

Please do not leave your items in the back street as it may be considered as fly-tipping and enforcement action may be taken.

Make sure there is adequate room for our crews to stick to social distancing guidelines.

We will remove the bulky items from your drive, yard, garden etc but we will not enter your property under any circumstances.

Amending or cancelling a bulky collection

If you want to change the items for collection then depending on the total unit amount and what this is increasing/decreasing to, you may have to make a further payment, be due a refund or the changes may still be in the same payment bracket.

Dependent on when you request an amendment, the date of collection may also change.

Please note, if you wish to amend or cancel your bulky collection, you will need to contact the cleansing team before midday, the first working day before collection.
