Information required
To obtain a certificate you will need to provide us with the following information;
- date of civil partnership
- place of civil partnership
- full names of parties at time of civil partnership
If you cannot provide some of the above information, then please contact the General Register Office.

If you formed your civil partnership outside of Blackburn with Darwen Borough, you will need to contact the Register Office for the relevant district, to obtain a copy of the certificate. Visit the GOV.UK website to find the relevant register office.
