Free Early Education Applications for 2 year olds

If your child is eligible, they can access up to a maximum of 570 hours per year of free early education from the term after their second birthday.
Primary School Applications
The closing date for applications was Friday 15 January 2021.Applications must have been submitted to the local authority by the closing date of 15 January 2021 to be considered as ‘on time’ along with all supporting evidence.
National Offer Day
Decision letters from the Council informing you of the school at which a place has been offered should be received by you by 16 April 2021.
Parents and carers who applied online will receive the decision letter by email and will able to view which school your child has been offered by logging in to the online parent portal.Parents and carers who apply using the paper application form will receive the decision letter by post.
You must respond to the offer of a place by 30 April 2021. Failure to respond to the offer of a school place may result in your child’s place being withdrawn.
Secondary School Applications
The closing date for applications was Saturday 31 October 2020.Applications must have been submitted to the local authority by the closing date of 31 October 2020 to be considered as ‘on time’ along with all supporting evidence.
Decision letters from the Council informing you of the school at which a place has been offered should be received by you by 1 March 2021.
You must respond to the offer of a place by 15 March 2021. Failure to respond to the offer of a school place may result in your child’s place being withdrawn.
